The Lineup
Poor Honey
Poor Honey is a new Mayne Island musical act weaving rich harmonies and powerful storytelling into an eclectic folk tapestry.
Eva has spent years curating her songs on guitar with strong, soulful vocals signing songs of heartbreak, moving forward, and facing the ever changing.
Accompanied by Justine on cello and Chrysta on banjo, their sound together blends intimate acoustic textures with emotional depth. At once tender and thunderous, their songs move with honesty and originality, a rare, moving voice in the modern folk space.
Yukon Blonde
Yukon Blonde emerged from Kelowna, B.C. in the mid‑2000s under the moniker Alphababy before relocating to Vancouver in 2009 . Led by frontman and songwriter Jeff Innes (with Brandon Scott, Graham Jones, James Younger and Rebecca Gray rounding out the lineup), the band burst onto the scene with their live‑to‑tape self‑titled debut in 2010, earning accolades like “one of the 10 Canadian bands destined to break in 2010” .
Their follow‑up, Tiger Talk (2012), earned a Juno nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year, and they’ve since released several acclaimed albums and toured extensively across Canada and the U.S. .
Yukon Blonde’s sound — a buoyant blend of indie rock, synth-pop, and danceable melodies — makes them a standout act in today’s Canadian music landscape.
